Welcome to MapleStory! This game is very fun but is also very old, and that means that there are a lot of legacy and outdated controls and systems. This guide will hopefully be able to teach you how to use the basic funtions of the game so you can get to the real end game ~fashionstory~

Before we begin, you should understand that this game is a marathon and not a sprint. If you just want to get to end game as fast as possible that will be difficult because the game is very time gated. This game is also a very social game! and while you can play without interacting with anyone, you will be missing out on a lot of what the game has to offer. Joining a guild is a great way to make friends if you want to play solo, and we will get into how to do that later. The more of your friends you can play with, the more fun this game will be!

How to download the game

There are 2 options:

-Nexon Launcher
-Steam

Either will work, although the Nexon launcher can be more stable and updates get pushed out quicker than on steam. Steam on the otherhand will be able to track how many hours you play on the game which the Nexon launcher cannot.
